His Holiness. Acharya Mahaprajnaji a living universal Guru, of the University, Pranams H.E.Rashtrapatiji the beloved inspirer of the people of our country.

Dr.L.M.Singhviji a great example of multidisciplinary from poetry to political diplomacy Smt. Sudhamahi Regunathan an scholar spanning from art to academic activism and the distinguished members of the Senate and Board of Management of Jain Vishva Bharati Institute ; H.H.Sri Sri Balgadhar Sevamiji Revered monks and nuns, (Former) Vice Chancellor of JVBI, Faculty of JVBI and eminent persons in the audience, students distinguished person on the dais and friends.

At this great moment in my life in this Markandya Hall. I am reminded of Adi Shankara's saying.

Question is : What is - Gift

He gives the answer: That which is given to the recipient unasked and unexpected. It is a great gift to me. I accept it with great humility and take it as the blessing of H.H.Acharya Mahalprajnaji and good wishes of other of JVBI.

To get it in the presence of H.E.Rashtrapatiji who as played a great inspiring and loving role in my life for over 40 years is another great happiness. It's God's Grace.

I wish to thank all those who have taught me, helped me, and supported me and wish me well.

Particular mention is to my family and to my wife who is the source of my inner strength. I end this by reminding myself of what the great Tamil Saint Poetess Avvayyar about 2000 years has said:

What is learnt is like a lump of soil in your fist

What is not learnt yet is of the size of Universe!
