Squash Or Rum Bottle Cover
Can we open easily?
An IAS officer, good friend of mine and with long experience in Science & technology departments used to ask me a question 'Rajan, why not your national labs work on some thing used large scale by India. Say for example Indian rum or low cost whiskey bottles used so much by jawans every evening have poor covers. One has to struggle to open. If our scientists / technologists can design a low cost but easily openable bottle covers, every day our Jawans will thank them !'
I thought of it. Yes most housewives (homemakers) struggle with squash, rasna etc bottles. A bottle of foreign scotch is easily openable by hand. But not these. You have to struggle with a knife. Then cloth etc.
Is there anybody there who can design a low cost but easily openable cover for our Indian Beverage Industry?
You can then patent and get money for each cover, if you bargain well.
