Indian Travellers to China - earlier Centuries and their writings

We hear about great Chinese travellers' travelogues and about India. They are great parts of history.

When I went as a special invitee to Nalanda Mentor Group, chaired by Prof Amartya Sen to Singapore, I met an Indian scholar, now a Professor of History in USA. He asked me whether I know of any groups or individuals who can give written material - letter, essay, poems, diary etc... of Indians who have travelled to China during the past several centuries. It may be in Tamil, Telugu, Bengali or Hindi or any other language. If you have please let me know so that I can make a linkage with that Professor. I am sure you will get some reward. More importantly you would have contributed a great deal to understanding our past history.
