Environmental Education through IT & Media

In the context of Developing Countries like India, it is a quite challenging environment for education. The Knowledge & Skill requirement required at various levels of society is quite complex, since socio-economic levels and occupation of people are very different. The author has discussed this in details in his papers “Towards a knowledge society in India: issues for management” published in International Journal of Information Technology and Management, Vol.2.No.3, 2003,pp.251-267.

The author will also discuss complex interaction between poverty removal and ensuring prosperity for all very briefly. Environmental education for sustainable development & ecological protection will depend on different segments of the society with specific case study for each of them. The author will elaborate on the role of Education of IT and environmental education.
